This is where I live.

My bedroom. The first night I got here I didn´t get in until 12:30 and my host mother showed me my room. Suprisingly, I was able to fall asleep pretty quickly. I also have my own bathroom which is nice.
This is the view from outside my house. You can see some of the mountains in the background. It´s on a busy street called La Gasca and there are always tons of buses and taxis that go by. There aren´t really bus stops here but you just hold out you hand and the bus will stop for you. There is a driver and then another guy who stands at the door and yells out the bus route.
When you want to get off you give your 25 cents to the guy hanging out the door and the bus will stop. It´s actually a better system then waiting for the BX12. This is the front courtyard of my house. No one uses the door you can see in this picture but if you keep walking down the hallway there is a door to the kitchen. If you keep walking past that, you get to my room which is seperate from the actual house. It´s kind of like a little apartment in back of the house.

This is the front door to my house. The street I live on is pretty steep which you can see in the next post and it´s about a 25 minute walk to my school. The altitude is really noticable then when I get home and I´m out of breath just from walking up the street.
